For my end of term task I was aksed too pick a location or event and travel too it, taking photos along the way and when I arrived. For this task i travled too the O2 Arena from my house in Blackheath. I chose to get there by walking along the Thames because I thought that this might be the most interesting route for taking photos becuase of all of the industrial style buildings, peirs and boats along with a good veiw of the city from accross the river. I started taking photos as soon as i left the door and some of the first photos in the gallery below were actually taken on my road, along with some towards the end. During my journey i managed to take some nice photos of people, buildings, interesting objects and some nice city scapes when the sun would poke through the clouds.
The camera I used was a cannon ()()()(()() and I learnt that it was harder for me too take nicer photographs when the sky is cloudy as this meant the shutter speed had too be made slower to stop my images coming out dark, however this meant that i had to hold the camera very still whilst taking a photo sotherwise it would come out really blurry meaning I did lose some nice photo opertunities due too the light. I found that some of my images would come out looking quite 2D and not really seeming very colourfull as everything looked quite grey because of the weather. However despite this I beleive that the journey was a success, I enjoyed myself and was able to get some nice photographs.
